Yorkshire Water and Morrison Utilities are expected on site at 11am today, at which point they will assess the extent of the issue and advise on likely timelines for completion.

Yorkshire Water and Morrisons Utilities are now on campus and are excavating the area where the mains water burst has taken place. At this stage we do not know the extent of the break so are unable to give a definite time of completion of the works but are currently aiming for completion at 4pm today, Wednesday 14 February 2024.

Water supply has been restored to Biology blocks A - F.  We are continuing to work on restoring supply to other affected areas.  Thank you for your continued patience.

Following the earlier leak water supply has been restored to all affected buildings.

Please make sure all taps in your area are turned off to prevent flooding.

You may notice air locks in the pipework once water is restored, which will decrease as usage increases.
