Some damage has been sustained at an underground water main near Vanbrugh due to an unexpected incident. Nearby building users may notice a drop in water pressure throughout the day. A repair will be completed overnight, during which the water will be turned off in nearby buildings.
Do not leave taps open during this time to prevent flooding when the water pressure has been restored.

Currently the water supply is being maintained to Campus West, but building users in Vanbrugh, Berrick Saul, Central Hall, Physics, James College and the Sports Centre may experience a drop in water pressure ahead of tonight's repair.

The repair to the water main will take place tonight at 10pm. It is expected that normal water supply will resume after 4 hours.
Once this is completed you may need to run the tap for some time before the water comes through. Please do not turn taps on and leave them unattended.
