As part of our continuing plans to upgrade and alter the existing electrical infrastructure from Vanbrugh substation and Market Square substation, ground works and some power outages will take place in the area during March 2026.

Ground works will be completed between 9 and 23 March with the roadway partially closed by the Information Centre on 9 and 10 March.  Access will be maintained.  

There will be planned power outages as follows:

Vanbrugh Nucleus, A, B, & C, Careers and URY - 28 March from 9am (8 hours)

Information Centre Market square - 9 April from 8am (9 hours).

Music Research Centre (including the Warren and the Drama barn) - 10 April from 8am (8 hours).
