External Library Bridge Lift

We have been made aware that the lift situated at Market Square / on the Library Bridge, is currently out of order. This fault has been reported to the engineer.

Alternative accessible access to the Library can be found via car park 3.1 (Campus North) and the External Fairhurst lift. 

We apologise for the inconvenience.

Engineers have attended and have identified the fault. They are working to fix the fault and put the lift back in service as soon as possible.

The External Library Bridge Lift has been repaired and put back into service. We will continue to monitor the lift over the next few days

No further issues have been reported and the lift is now back in normal serivce
