The network issue is ongoing. Wifi connections & some wired connections are affected. Other University services, such as e:Vision, are also impacted. We're working to resolve the problem as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and we apologise for the inconvenience.

We are aware of further instability on the network and are still working towards a resolution.

The majority of services are back up but should be considered "at risk" overnight.

Although the network continues to be stable today we still have significant underlying issues that need to be resolved. Non-service affecting investigations continue to take place throughout the day. Our priority is to protect graduation and therefore further work is paused until 17:45 today.

We currently plan to take action that carries a level of increased risk to all services from 17:45 and although we do not expect any specific services to be affected we cannot be sure that will be the case due to the nature of the work involved.

We are anticipating that the work currently planned for this evening should be completed by around 20:00, although that will depend on the outcome of the planned work.

This evening’s planned work to the core network has resulted in a number of issues to services.

We continue to investigate the causes and we working to restore services as soon as we can.

Our work for this evening is complete, and the network appears much happier. There are a few residual issues, please continue to check the status board for details, and report any issues to IT support.

We do not anticipate any further problems with the core network and consider the issues resolved.
