On Thursday 6 January at 7am, as part of our commitment to maintain network security, we are making a change to the way your devices securely connect to the network. You will need to take action on each device you wish to connect to the wireless network (eduroam) or to the student wired network. If you don't go through the procedure your device may not have connectivity.
The action is not required for games consoles etc that are registered in MyDevices or for University-owned managed laptops or desktop PCs.
The action required is the same process as the first time you use any device to connect to our services. This automated process sets your device up to connect seamlessly to the network.
In summary, if you are unable to connect to eduroam or the student wired network from Thursday 6 January onwards you must go through the above process to connect.
