We will be upgrading to the latest version of the PaperCut software on the York Print Plus printing system (print.york.ac.uk). This upgrade enhances security and provides features for future service improvements. As part of this upgrade we will be turning on auto-updates for the Print Deploy client that is installed on managed PCs.
The upgrade will be carried out on Tuesday 7 June between 6am and 10am.
During this time there will be periods when you won’t be able to use managed printers for printing, copying or scanning. The web portal will be offline and ePrint will be paused for the work.
There are no changes needed to devices and no action required from you. IT Services staff will be monitoring the system and print devices between 6am and 10am. If you experience any problems after this time, please restart the printer or computer affected.
If you happen to see a sign-in error, or a constant ‘device integration’ message, please restart the device before contacting us.
